United Way of Tampa Bay's Women’s Leadership
 |
An Extraordinary Network of Women United by a Common Vision. | Mission To create a powerful leadership network of women who strengthen our community through growing, giving and guiding. Mothers, daughters, professional and community leaders throughout Tampa Bay have joined together to become part of this initiative which is bringing real, meaningful responses to some of the most pressing issues facing our community today.
Women’s Leadership members are true role models for women who aspire to become philanthropists in their own right.
Getting Involved
In order to join Women’s Leadership, women are asked to donate a minimum of $1,000 annually to United Way. As a member, you will have the chance to participate in a variety of volunteer, networking, professional and social activities. You’ll also be inspiring future generations of women philanthropists.
A new leadership giving program was launched in 2005, Women of Influence, which recognizes women who contribute $5,000 per year or more to United Way.
Our Focus
Women’s Leadership current focus is on less fortunate elementary and middle school children who have no place to go in the summer when school is out. Many are from single-parent families that cannot afford childcare. Our goal is to provide more children with a nurturing, caring environment when school can’t be there.
Who better than you?
It’s time you took your place among the great women of our community – inspiring, nurturing and empowering others. Call today for more information about Women’s Leadership. Because if you don’t lead the way, who will?
