United Visions - United Way's Partner Recognition Program
Each year nearly 1,000 public and private sector organizations partner with United Way to help change lives and strengthen community. Working together, $20 million is raised annually from local workplace partners.
But it doesn’t stop there. Many partners — and the list grows each year — provide support through volunteerism, sponsorships, and in-kind contributions.
It is because of our relationship with organizations like yours that United Way is able to invest in nearly 70 partner agencies and also bring life changing initiatives to the community, such as Summer Care and the Imagination Library. Partnerships also increase volunteerism in our community. The Day of Caring and our Hands on Tampa Bay volunteer programs provide enriching opportunities to people to lend a hand to children, young adults, disabled, and elderly.
In addition, United Way’s ability to maximize its work in the community is made possible through corporate sponsorships of our major events like our annual Children’s Book Drive, the Campaign Kickoff, and our Volunteer of the Year Awards Luncheon.
We believe our partners should be recognized in a manner that celebrates the diverse and wonderful ways that businesses, government departments, and other groups make a difference through their relationship with United Way.
United Visions has been created to ensure we accurately recognize the good works of our partners. We hope to inspire organizations like yours to be as involved as possible in United Way’s mission in our communities.
